Singer/songwriter Sharon Brooks was born in Barbados, spent many years in Montreal and now calls the Sunshine Coast, Queensland home. About to release 'Black Rock Down Under' Sharon has a strong fan base worldwide. She has worked in many genres and is the lead singer of Brisbane based band PocketLove. Sharon has worked with industry greats including Motown legend Bernard 'Pretty' Purdie, Debbie Cox, Martha Walsh and Jon Stevens. With Sharon's dynamic powerful on-stage presence and upbeat vibe PocketLove continues to wow crowds across Australia and have performed at Woodford Folk Festival, Caloundra Music Festival, Mitchell Creek Rock and Blues Festival, Yonder Streets Art Festival at The Tivoli in Brisbane. Sharon has performed Internationally in LA, Toronto, Montreal, Beijing, Morocco and London.
